8-12: Growing In Goodness

This unit will help them start to recognize the differences between good and evil. It will give them a foundation of goodness in their hearts by teaching them what God wants them to think about. The New Testament teaching about goodness centers on the fact that goodness starts in the mind. Being good involves the heart before it involves actions. Certainly anyone can go through the motions of being good. But only those who “think about such things” will grow up in every way to be like Christ.
