8-12: Growing In Attitude

Children ages 8–12 will identify attitudes Jesus had and taught us to have. The lessons and activities focus on changing me-first attitudes into God-first attitudes. Students will be encouraged to do this through serving others. They will put others first, look out for the interests of others, consider others more important than themselves, and show mercy and forgiveness to others. These servant actions toward others certainly are not like the world. But they are the actions that stem from a God-first attitude.
